| Tam O'Shanter Organization
Each lot owner in Tam O'Shanter, limited by the CC&R's to two adults and children under the age of 27 residing in the member's household per lot for the purposes of privileges to use the common properties, is a member of Tam O'Shanter, Inc., a non-profit Corporation. The Articles of Incorporation and the By-Laws of the Corporation govern certain community matters and activities.
As a private, not for profit homeowners association, Tam O'Shanter is lead by an elected 15 member volunteer Board of Directors who provides guidance to
10 volunteer permanent committees. Board members sit for a three year term and each year 1/3 of the Board is replaced. Each committee has a Board liaison and working with the management of the club, help design and implement the many outstanding activities and programs which make TOS so enjoyable. As a homeowner, anyone with the desire and aptitude can run for the Board of Directors or one of the Committees and once elected can continue the tradition of community volunteerism. It's the members that make the TOS community so special.
