Welcome to tamoshanter.net, the official web site for the Tam O'Shanter Golf & Country Club Neighborhood. Tam O'Shanter is a single-family community located in Bellevue, Washington with wonderful lake and mountain views and enforced covenants. The community surrounds a challenging 9-hole golf course. Our new clubhouse features Mulligan's, a great restaurant. Our competition sized swimming pool and tennis facility are available to all residents of Tam O'Shanter. Click here to see an aerial view of Tam O'Shanter, or email us for more information. In Memory of Laura Olin Our dear friend, Laura Olin, passed away December 20th. Laura was an exceptional person. Her kindness and willingness to assist others was effortless. She loved golf and one would often find her practicing on any given evening or weekend. Laura was a gift to our neighborhood in so many ways. Not only did she serve as the Board of Director’s Secretary in 2008, but she had served on the tennis committee, been an officer and captain of TAMS, and worked on and participated in many TOS events. She was one of the most unselfish and wonderful people who ever graced our community. Our warmest thoughts go out to Rob as we share in his loss. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Laura to Melanoma Research Foundation (http://www.melanoma.org) or King county Nurses Association Scholarship Fund (http://www.kcnurses.org/scholarships.html).

Budget Vote There will be a second vote for the dues increase this month. The ballots will be due at the clubhouse by 5pm on Monday, January 26th. There will be two meetings held where you may get answers to any questions you might have about the budget.

From the Pro Winter rate guest green fees begin November 1. The everyday rate is $10 for nine holes and $15 for eighteen holes. Community Updates

Beware of suspicious activity around mailboxes, get license numbers, and report to the police. If you are expecting important documents from your financial institution and they do not arrive – notify the financial institution as soon as possible.
---------- Lively Lines via email ---------- " Go Green" in Tam O'Shanter by opting for an electronic version of the monthly newsletter rather than a paper copy. This will save our community several hundreds of dollars in paper, printing and postage costs annually. To subscribe, simply send an email to "subscribe@tamoshanter.net".
