Surrounding the tennis facility is a large grassy park that features a "big toy" with swings, slides and climbing structures for kids to explore, built in barbecue grills, picnic tables, a sand volleyball court and a cement basketball court. While the park and its pleasures are available to enjoy by TOS member families at any time, the Tam O'Shanter Recreation Committee plans organized functions throughout the year in the park. The Labor Day barbecue and Fourth of July bike parade are just a sampling of the fun activities on tap for our members. Family fun and camaraderie are the high points of any day at the Tam O'Shanter Park.
