Tam O'Shanter is a unique residential community enjoying exceptional recreational facilities. The developer, Sherwood Development Co., planned the community as Tam-O-Shanter in 1964, and changed the name to Tam o’Shanter in 1965, incorporating in February of that year, and began developing the community in nine ( 9 ) phases; each phase was referred to as a “Park”, hence T.O.S. Park 1, Park 2, etc.
